Kosancicev Venac
Housing Development Competition, Belgrade
This project was developed as a competition entry for a housing development in Belgrade’s historic district of Kosančićev Venac. The site sits between two embassies and the Rectorate of the Faculty of Applied Arts, overlooking the Sava River and adjacent to the culturally significant public stairway known as the “Big Steps.”
The proposal explores how new housing can respond to the surrounding 19th-century embassy architecture while maintaining the vitality and informality of Belgrade’s old town. The design negotiates between contextual continuity and contemporary expression.
Developed as part of a three-person team. My role included design development, floor plan production, and final competition visualisations.
